One morning, Mrs Dennis suddenly burst into our classroom to tell us about the herons sitting in the Year 3 playground. Naturally we all had a look and, as you would expect, they didn't have on a Cockle Bay uniform. We tried to be as quiet as possible, so as not to frighten them away, but unfortunately when some people came walking along to the office, they calmly flew away. Who knows if, or when, they will fly back to try out their Year 3 perch?
