One of the most important things we did in Week 4 was to get our art work ready for the Art Expo. Once the clay fish had been fired in the kiln, we matched our named photo to the right fish shape. Then we drew that shape and experimented with colours and shapes. After some experimentation, we coloured our paper copy with the colours we wanted to use on our clay fish.
Finally it was time to apply paint! The paint had to dry over the weekend before Mrs Bear added a googly eye and varnished them with PVA glue to make the colours smudegeproof and shiny.

| We held the paint brush by the silver section, just like a pencil, so that we hd good control over our movements. |
