We made shadow puppets of our fish by tracing around the outline. Then we used our 'fish voices' to let the fish swim speak to each other in Whale, as they swam around in the sea.
It was interesting to see that you made a shadow whenever anything, or anyone got between the light and the screen. Sometimes, we even had shadows of people! We discovered that shadows are not things in their own right, but an absence of light - they only occur when something blocks the light.
